About Me

The work you see here reflects what has stayed with me for as long as I can remember: imagination, storytelling, nostalgia, and the simple joy of making something by hand.

“Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up.” – Pablo Picasso

I’m a freelance artist, graphic designer, and web developer in Staten Island, New York. As far back as I can remember, I’ve always loved to draw. My first box of crayons opened up a whole world for me, and that feeling never really left. There was something special about bringing a character, an idea, or a memory to life with color and imagination, and I still chase that same feeling every time I sit down to create.

Without the benefit of a formal art lesson, I was accepted into the School of Visual Arts in New York. The instructors there guided me while still allowing me to develop a style that felt like my own. That balance meant a lot to me. It reminded me that the strongest work doesn’t come from trying to imitate someone else. It comes from holding on to what inspired you in the first place.

As technology became part of my creative life, that passion grew beyond traditional art into digital illustration, animation, and web design. Today, my work is a mix of illustration, digital painting, design, development, and, honestly, always sketching. No matter the medium, I’m still drawn to the same things I loved from the beginning: character, atmosphere, and the kind of imagery that makes you feel something familiar the moment you see it.

A lot of my inspiration comes from the things that stay with us through the years. Toys from childhood. Favorite characters. Album covers. Video games. Late-night movies. The little details that spark memories and take us back to a certain time and place. I love creating artwork that taps into that feeling, because nostalgia has a way of making art personal. It turns an image into something you want to live with, collect, and come back to again.

Outside of art, if there even is such a thing, I’ve been known to wander the aisles of a toy store looking for the newest addition to my ever-growing collection. I relax by spending time with my family, playing video games, and listening to music. Those parts of my life are not separate from the work. They are part of what shapes it, and part of what keeps it honest.

If something here reminds you of a piece of your own story, then the work has done what I hoped it would do. And if you’d like something custom-created just for you, I’d love to hear from you.
